Prepare for a transformative journey through the heart of Ecuador with our unique “Mitad del Mundo Tour – Impactful Style”. As you stand at the center of the world, let us take you into the rich history of Ecuador’s tribes, and explore the ancient uses of the agave.
Your afternoon adventure begins at 2:00 pm (also possible in the morning at 9:00 am), with pick-up from your hotel, as we set out to visit the famous equatorial line. Our first stop is the interactive Inti Ñan Museum, where a knowledgeable guide will walk you through the rich history of Ecuador’s diverse tribes and their unique connection to the middle of the earth. Stand on the real equatorial line and participate in a variety of mind-boggling experiments that prove you are indeed standing in the center of the world.
Next, we will visit Casa Agave, an incredible initiative that has worked tirelessly to preserve and enhance one of the oldest heritages of Ecuador’s inter-Andean valleys – the Agave plant, with all its uses and derivatives.
Our flexible timing allows you to combine this tour with other Quito Tours. For example, add a morning or afternoon Quito Walking Tour, providing a comprehensive experience of Quito. And why not wrap up your day in Quito with our exciting Street Food Tour?
