Sales Assistant
Felix joined our Sales Team bringing with him a strong passion for both cultural exchange and sales. He studied Romance Studies with a minor in Economics, and his academic path even led him to research the interactions between Quechua and Spanish languages, which deepened his curiosity for the languages and cultures of the Andes.
A friend of the family first told him about Impactful Travel, and the opportunity immediately caught his attention: a role where his enthusiasm for sales and his wish to immerse himself in South America could truly meet. Having always dreamed of exploring the Andes and its traditions, he swapped Minnesota’s lake country for the breathtaking Andean peaks of Cusco.
Felix is no stranger to travel: he has explored many countries across Asia, Central America, and Europe, as well as knowing the USA inside out. He believes in experiencing destinations through deep cultural immersion rather than just passing by. In his free time, you’ll find him hiking, playing basketball, biking, or relaxing while enjoying a good book.
I love how friendly and grounded the people are here. Almost everyone is willing to chit-chat or have a talk, and if you´re doing a shared activity, they will introduce themselves and engage in conversation. The pace is great too, everyone here stays busy but still ensures time for family, friends, or colleagues to have a delicious lunch break or drink (the food here is amazing!).
Impactful Travel gave me the perfect opportunity to pursue two of my biggest passions: to immerse myself in Latin American cultures, and to pursue a career in sales. Here, I not only have the chance to learn about Quechua culture and language first-hand, but also that of nearby countries we operate in, like Ecuador and Costa Rica.
For me, sustainability not only means keeping our Earth clean through eco-conscious tours, but also sustaining the local communities our tours connect with. By prioritizing genuine cultural engagement, we support authentic history and knowledge, rather than promoting commercialized or misleading experiences.
Great locations, great food, and an open mind! If you´ve chosen the right locations, sometimes you don´t even need to book your itinerary fully, and can take an afternoon (or a whole day) to explore and discover in the moment. Find that hidden restaurant, go to that pop-up band performing in the park!
