Fabian is originally from Germany and comes from a background in online sales while currently studying Media Management. After spending several years between Europe and Peru, he joined us in 2026 and eventually decided to make Peru his new home, where he now supports the team creating, promoting and selling online impactful tours.
What began through his relationship with his partner, one of our tour guides in Lima, gradually turned into a deep connection with Peru and its people. Having traveled to different countries before, Peru stood out to him because of its incredible diversity, not only through its landscape, but also through the people and ways of life that shape the country.
What fascinates him the most is how strongly these different environments influence the mentality, values and lifestyles of the people living there. In many ways, Peru reflects how diverse human life and realities can be around the world.
These experiences changed the way he sees travel. Beyond discovering landscapes and destinations, he believes traveling can create understanding, curiosity and a greater appreciation for cultures and ways of life outside of one’s own surroundings. Being able to help others experience this side of Peru is one of the reasons he felt connected to Impactful Travel and its approach to more conscious and sustainable travel.
For me there is one clear answer to this question: La comida ; the food
Peruvian food is award-winning and famous all around the world. Thanks to the country’s geography and the influence of many different cultures combined over decades of culinary craftsmanship, the food in Peru is incredibly unique and unmatched in its variety. Trying Peruvian dishes is truly a must for everyone.
Peruvians are not only happy to enjoy this cuisine every day but also very proud of it, which is why food is often the number one topic in daily conversations.
The funniest part is that Peruvians even use food names as everyday expressions and slang. For example piña (pineapple) means “bad luck.” So if you never try Peruvian food… qué piña!
To me, it is about responsibility, sustaining the planet as we are fortunate to experience it today, not only for those who live on it now, but also for future generations.
Humanity is part of the biosphere on earth, and it has to contribute to keeping this balance alive and functioning.
That is why it was easy for me to see Impactful Travel as a company that truly contributes to this mission and why I would love to be part of it.
For me, the most important thing is that every person feels they are in good hands. Everyone has different and unique needs and it is important for us to understand them and adapt to each person individually.
The key is being well prepared so that every situation is taken care of as best as possible, allowing travelers to fully relax and enjoy their one of a kind experience.
